Yoga Therapeutics Training Module 2

Similar to Module 1, you learn a holistic approach to illness, injury, and healing and develop a knowledge base for addressing students’ conditions and leading them toward an experience of wellness. In Module 2, emphasis is placed on working in a variety of settings, and treating structural, functional, and chronic health issues. You will learn how to work with back, spine, shoulder, pelvis, and leg injuries, as well as chronic diseases such as cancer, MS, fibromyalgia, and heart conditions. Consideration is also given to addressing the side effects of medication, serious injury, and chronic illness.

Guest specialists will also present their experiences and approaches for working with specific conditions.  Guest Presenter topics may include: working with veterans and PTSD, breast cancer patients and survivors, and wheelchair-bound students. The training culminates with hands-on practice with real people in need of healing.

You will leave with practical tools, techniques, and guidelines for working with those who have serious health conditions and a deeper understanding of your own skills and interests as a healer and therapeutic yoga practitioner.

Jillian effortlessly shares her wonderful gifts of teaching, compassion, and insight. I was able to employee so much of what I learned instantly. And, I am looking at all of my students and clients with new eyes and amazed at how I can now see so much more about what the body shows us in small subtle ways.
