Teacher Training Workshop: Design a Powerful Restorative Yoga Practice with Minimal Props

Join me for a powerful restorative experience and learn how to bring it into your own practice and share it with others—with only 1-to-2 props.

This training begins with an exquisitely crafted Winter Solstice Mini-Retreat that seamlessly weaves together mindful slow yoga, meditation, simple restorative poses, and deep relaxation that will calm your body, clear your mind, and open your heart.

We’ll then gather for a deep dive into the science behind the practice and the ingredients and skills that make it so powerfully "restorative." You will learn the fundamental science and theory behind restoratives, propping, and alignment—when working with 1-2 props. I'll demonstrate dozens of ways to set up 8 essential poses, and you’ll experience many of the variations.

You’ll be surprised by how much support you can create (and receive) from so little, and you will leave with a new bag of tricks to incorporate into your flow, meditation, or restorative practices without relying on piles of props.

This workshop is open to all; it will be especially useful for yoga teachers, pilates teachers, body workers, physical therapists, and caretakers for all kinds.
