One of Four Modules for 100 Hour Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training
This in-depth professional training focuses on the therapeutic applications of yoga for working with students and clients who have serious and chronic health conditions. Participants gain skills in observation and assessment and learn how to adapt techniques for individual needs and circumstances.
Similar to Module 1, you learn a holistic approach to illness, injury, and healing and develop a knowledge base for addressing students’ conditions and leading them toward an experience of wellness. In Module 2, emphasis is placed on working in a variety of settings, and treating structural, functional, and chronic health issues. You will learn how to work with back, spine, shoulder, pelvis, and leg injuries, as well as chronic diseases such as cancer, MS, fibromyalgia, and heart conditions. Consideration is also given to addressing the side effects of medication, serious injury, and chronic illness.
Be sure to check times of each session and location as they differ through out the training.
